Mick Smith

Mick started his golf career in his homeland of Australia.  In 1999 he won a record seven amateur events and went on to win the Vardon Trophy for the lowest scoring average in New South Wales.  Mick was then selected to represent New South Wales in both the Australian Inter-State series as well as the Shirley International Open in New Zealand.  In 2000 Mick came to the US and started his professional career and has played on the Golden Bear Tour, won tournaments on the Hooters Tour and the Gateway Tour, as well as winning the Colorado PGA Assistant Championship (2003).  Due to his success and playing ability, Mick has worked with world-renowned coaches to develop a sound and simple philosophy on playing the game of golf.   He passes on this knowledge and adapts his teaching style to how an individual student learns and their specific skill level. Mick has been a golf instructor since 2003.  He has taught at clubs in Colorado, Texas and most recently in Illinois.
