Registration deadline for all fitness classes is one week before the program begins. If you miss a class, you can make it up in any of our fitness classes throughout the week.
Refunds will not be given after the 4th class.
All classes are held at the Twin Lakes Recreation Area, 1200 E. Twin Lakes Drive, in Palatine unless otherwise noted. Participants must be 18 years of age or older and can receive $5 off if you register for 3 or more classes during the same session!
Are you interested in trying some of those intense and fun fitness classes everyone is talking about? Classes like P90X, T25, Combat, Insanity or Brazil Butt Lift. If so, then come and join the Salt Creek Fit Club! All Fitness levels are accepted and encouraged to come and try it out. It’s a one stop shop with hi to low cardio, Piyo, as well as strength and core training. We do it all!

Zumba(R) Toning takes the energetic world rhythms and easy-to-follow choreography you've come to know and love from Zumba(R) but adds lightly-weighted toning sticks to sculpt, define and leave you feeling (and looking) fabulous! Participants can expect to burn up to 800 calories in a 1 hour session! Zumba(T) Toning combines cardiovascular training as well as traditional fitness moves to rev up your metabolism--- and best of all: it's low impact and joint friendly!

Increase bone density and lean body mass while working towards a stronger, fitter you! Participants will strength train using weights, elastic tubing and other equipment. Learn technique and correct form.

Learn to utilize and strength your core as you improve your body's overall functional strength, balance and coordination. This class focuses on strength, movement and balance challenges through use of the body's core and incorporates functional, traditional and pilates based exercises. Stability Ball required.

Ditch the workout-join the party! Zumba mixes body sculpting movement with dance steps derived from Latin music.
Instructor: Andrew Regalmuto (Wednesday at 7:30pm)

This workout will consist of a variety of hi-lo, step and boot camp style exercises. This class is 30 minutes of cardio followed by 30 minutes of strength, conditioning and abs.

Criss Cross is a class that mixes traditional callisthenic and body weight exercises with interval and strength training. Each class will consist of an efficient and challenging workout. With this class you can see fast results. Join our P90X & Insanity certified instructor for this challenging workout.

Andy Regalmuto - I have been a fitness instructor since 1988. I teach Spin classes and have been doing so since 2000, but my favorite form of exercise is Zumba! I have been teaching Zumba since 2009 and I love it. It’s a great workout for all people, all ages, and all fitness levels. It’s really exercise in disguise and you do not need to know how to dance. My other interests are: Member of the Rescue Riders-Advanced Accident Scene Management and First Aid for motorcycle trauma, Member of the Patriot Guard Riders, and a Member of the Warrior Watch Riders. My biggest accomplishment is being a Prostate Cancer Survivor since 2000.
Julie Wilson - I found my passion for helping women working at Curves in 2004. I became the full time manager and spent my days training women on the equipment and keeping them motivated through their workouts. In 2007, not long after losing my husband and gaining fifty pounds I began working at Women's Workout World. I immediately started teaching classes and to my delight, losing weight! I was trained to teach lifting, toning, abs, step and floor aerobics, Body Sync and small group functional classes. I also spent many hours working individually with members on their goals and training them on the correct form to use machines as well as free weights. I lost forty pounds and gained more muscle than I'd ever had in my 40 yrs. This life changing experience has created a desire for me to help women have the same opportunity and I knew the next step was to get my certification for personal training. Having accomplished that goal in Feb 2013, I started teaching lifting and toning classes for women five days a week. I'm so excited to be joining Salt Creek and continue to inspire women to stay fit and healthy.
Tammy Sopoci - My name is Tammy and I am a mother of three teenage girls. My passion is to help people in fitness. I am currently certified in Turbo Kick, Piyo, Hip Hop Hustle, Piloxing & S.T.R.I.D.E which is a Certification with Shaun T. My mission is to physically and mentally empower women through fitness.
Terri Villarreal: Terri Villarreal is a seasoned fitness instructor and personal trainer, but her first and long lasting love is teaching Zumba. Terri brings a mix of traditional Latin rhythms with a surprise splash of pop and/or country music to her Zumba classes. Terri’s classes are fun and energetic and appropriate for any fitness level.
Molly Siegel: I am a fitness enthusiast! I'm always striving to find new ways to keep exercising fun. Group fitness has always been my number one mode to exercise. I'm a big fan of circuit and interval training and also incorporating kickboxing moves into routines. I love the positive energy that's in a room of people exercising together. Since I haven't always been fit, I totally get what it's like to start a fitness journey. We're all in it together, working out to feel good and improve our own health, no matter how short or long of a time we've been active. Aside from my love of being a fitness instructor, I'm also a part- time elementary art teacher and mom of 3 young, very active, boys. Life is busy and great! I'm very excited to be working at Salt Creek!
