Twin Lakes Fishing Club (TLFC) Membership


The TLFC promotes the sport of fishing by providing a network of fishing knowledge to anyone interested in the North West suburbs of Chicago.  The main priority of the TLFC is to meet fellow anglers, who foster and encourage camaraderie, integrity, conservation, sportsmanship, and to develop the skills and knowledge to become a more successful angler.

Membership & Dues

The TLFC is a non for profit organization.  We welcome all men, women, and children who are simply interested in fishing.  Membership only requires that anglers agree with the purpose and By-Laws of the TLFC.  * All members must have Valid Illinois Fishing License.             

Yearly Dues: (April 1, 2018-March 31, 2019) Fees are Due by April 1st.

$120.00 –Adult (16 years +)

$60.00 – Kids (under 16 years)                

What you get:
  • Annual fishing pass for Donut Lake (April
  • Exclusive use of TLFC fishing boat equipment (battery, trolling motor, fish finder, anchor).  Boat rental fees apply. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Discounted entry to ice fishing derby and free entry to open water fishing derby.
  • Free admission to hear expert guest speakers on various angling topics throughout the year.
  • Admission to fall cook out / entry to end of season raffle.

Donut Lake Annual Tournament (Club members only)

There will be a tournament held throughout the season.  The 3 divisions are beginner, novice, and senior.  You will be responsible for documenting weights of each fish you catch during the month.  The results will be posted in the club house each month.  Awards for overall creel each month will be given out.  Awards for gross overall weight caught in a season and the largest fish caught will be handed out during the fall banquet.

Pre-Fishing Derby Seminars

Learn about the different fish in Donut Lake and how to catch them. The instructor will give information about what types of lures and bait will work best in our lake, so you are prepared to catch lots of fish at our Derby on June 16. Learn how to tie proper fishing knots and practice what you have learned. program will run rain or shine. Pre-registration is required.  $5R/$7NR

25th Annual Fishing Derby

Enjoy a great family event and start your fishing tales now! There will be awards, prizes and a tagged fish just waiting to be caught for a special prize. Bait is available for purchase. Please bring a bucket for fish. Pre-registration recommended.  $5 (Pre-registration), $7 (day of event)

Park patrons CANNOT use their own boats or motorized boats on either of the lakes in Twin Lakes.

Kayak Lessons

This class is for beginners or those who would like a refresher!  This is an easy, fun class and a great way to get acquainted with kayaking.  Experienced instructors teach you the basic skills to have fun and be safe in a logical, thorough, step by step process.
